Spring Is Almost Here

Wow, are your ready for spring? As I write this blog it is 39o F and raining. Enough is enough. Bring on the azaleas, wisteria and warm weather that we love about spring in the Charleston area.

Of course another characteristic of spring is an increase in home listings and sales. Maybe you are one of the folks that will be selling your home and making a new home purchase this year. Perhaps you are a first time home buyer or you have been renting for a while and would like to get back in to your own home. Whatever your reason for selling or buying a home, one of the most important steps you can take is to choose the right agent to help you with the entire process and transaction. As mentioned in many real estate articles, brochures and publications, not all real estate agents are created equal. What are the qualities of a good agent? I offer the following short list.

Listening to your needs and requirements to search for the greatest selection of properties in the marketplace.

Working and negotiating for you to save the most amount of money on your home purchase.

Guiding and counseling you through the buying process and avoiding confusion, loss of time and frustration.

Caring more about your priorities and goals than their commission.
So, choosing the wrong agent when buying a home can cost you thousands of dollars and waste a lot of your time. Not to mention taking the fun and excitement away from purchasing a new home.

As the Lead Buyer’s Agent for The Gales Group, I can take pride in saying our team of agents meet and regularly exceed the desired agent qualities above. Our agents are not just committed to your success; we are dedicated to understanding every detail of the home buying process at the highest level to get you the best deal possible while making the home buying process fun!
You may be months away from buying your home, but the guidance you get today will ultimately impact the results you get when you're ready to buy.
Please let me know if I can do anything for you in the future.
